Complete monitoring and recording system
AXIS Camera Station is a complete monitoring and recording system for up to 50 cameras. It offers easy installation andsetup with automatic camera discovery, a powerful Event Configuration Wizard and efficient management of the Axisnetwork video products in the system.

Optimized bandwidth and storage usage
View and record high quality video and audio from up to 50 cameras with H.264, MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG videocompression. Support for H.264 video compression enables optimization of bandwidth and storage efficiency bysignificantly reducing the bit rate without compromising image quality.

Powerful recording search and export
Scheduled and event-driven recordings are triggered by motion or external inputs. AXIS Camera Station utilizescamera-based motion detection to save bandwidth and disk space. Manual recording can be triggered directly in the liveview interface. AXIS Camera Station offers a powerful recording search with timeline visualization and exportfunctionality with digital signature in order to provide video files as secure evidence.

Easy control of PTZ and dome network cameras
Control of PTZ and dome cameras using a joystick or mouse gives responsive and accurate control of the pan, tilt, zoomfunctionality. Support for digital PTZ and Area zoom are available in both live view and playback.

Remote viewing and control
The Windows client of AXIS Camera Station can be installed on any PC enabling remote viewing and control from anywhereon the internet or the corporate network. AXIS Camera Station allows for scalability, with easy addition of licensesfor up to 50 video channels.

Site maps
Support for Site maps makes it possible to render a full overview of the monitored area as well as gain quick access toany Axis network camera in the installation.
